Hidden Weight Gainers

Carbohydrates turn into fat faster than proteins and fats and once a carb turns into fat, it is stuck there until you make dietary changes or exercise more to burn it off; therefore the goal is to get rid of all of the hidden carbs we are consuming that is destroying the weight loss progress.

Carbohydrates are just as bad as sugar because they turn into sugar very quickly in the body.  You can refer to the Glycemic Index for specific information on how quickly different types of carbohydrates convert to sugar in the body.  You want to avoid foods with the higher numbers on the scale.

The way to get rid of hidden carbs and hidden sugars is to start looking for grams of sugar on labels of all packaged foods. Ideally we want 0 to 1 grams of sugar whenever possible.

Hidden sugars are in all the wheat and grain products such as

•    wheat
•    bran
•    oatmeal
•    rice
•    bread
•    crackers
•    pancakes
•    muffins

All of these convert into sugar fast and we want to avoid these so we can shrink your body.

Can you ever have bread again? Well, yes, but not now.

First, we have to get the metabolism right, and get it revving like it did when you were young.  To do that, you must stick with the plan.

â–ª    Yams, white potatoes, sweet potatoes, all potatoes. They are good for weight gain, not loss.
â–ª    Fruit, not right now. Fruit is high in sugar and although it will not make you gain weight, it can prevent weight loss.
â–ª    Juice? No! It is filled with just as much sugar as soda, especially carrot juice.
â–ª    Avoid many sugar substitutes, the list below will serve as a guide if you need sweets.
